37 M. High Tower with Unique Futuristic Look 

HaMifras Tower, also known as the Rocket Tower is a unique and impressive 29-storey structure in the lower town area of Haifa, housing the Haifa and Northern District Government Centre. The tower rises to a height of 137 m. and is topped by a turret with a pair of sails.   

For the construction of the tower use was made of sophisticated human engineering and technology that had so far not previously been employed in public buildings in Israel. The tower with its futuristic look was built from advanced raw materials with the aid of engineering technologies ensuring immunity against high winds and earthquakes. 

In the course of designing and constructing the tower an attempt was made to combine old and new by a row of old-fashioned styled arches leading from PalYam Avenue to the modern skyscraper together with the integration of ancient mosaic replicas and historical maps of the city of Haifa.
