Project Description

The project comprises four residential towers with 528 residential units and a 5-level parking lot shared by all towers. Each tower has 20 residential floors, a commerce floor and a mixed-use commerce and office floor. 398 apartments are rental units distributed between three towers, while 130 apartments are offered for free-market sale in the fourth tower.

The main access route to the worksite is via Chile Street, which is also used for bringing in finishing supplies and for garbage disposal. This, along with the distances between the towers, created a logistical problem that had to be overcome.

So much to do, so little time

Ashtrom Contracting, via its subsidiary Ashtrom Jerusalem, adheres to strict safety and professional-conduct guidelines from the very first stages of excavation, piling, casting of flooring, columns and ceiling, and later on during infrastructure preparation for each apartment’s internal systems (plumbing, gas, electricity, communications, air conditioning, etc.), as well as during plaster work, flooring, plaster board installation, painting and landscaping.

The project is performed using the Baranovitch Method, using 6 cranes. The biggest challenge is meeting the tight timetables in light of the complex build and the large number of units, which

requires a large workforce, a large quantity of equipment and materials, and simultaneous work across the entire worksite.

Throughout the entire project, Ashtrom Jerusalem took great care to meticulously plan the construction and repeatedly examine deficiencies during the work and in its final stages.
