Ashtrom Group, through its subsidiary, Ashtrom Engineering and Construction, is behind the renovation of the takeoff and landing runways, as well as the aircraft parking apron, at Ben Gurion Airport.

Renovation of Flight Runways and Aircraft Parking Apron
Under the combined project completed in 2020 renovation works were carried out on the takeoff and landing runways at Ben Gurion Airport, including taxiing runways and patrol roads. The Company also performed renovation of the aircraft parking apron extending over an approx. 100 thousand sq.m. area.
The works on the site included, among other operations, dismantling and extension of the existing systems on the apron and rebuilding it to the mandatory aviation terms and conditions under ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organisation) guidelines.
