Highway 531 as a Catalyst for Urban Development

Highway 531 serves as a main traffic route between Ra'anana and Herzliya, connecting the Coastal and Cross-Israel Highways with Highways 2, 4, and 20, enhancing access for nearby communities and supporting urban growth.

Along a 14 km stretch, Ashtrom constructed road bridges, interchanges, water drainage reservoirs, footbridges, underpasses, overpasses, a railway tunnel, and a double-track rail alignment, including the coastal railway diversion to connect with the new Sharon line. The work involved earthworks, road laying, retaining and acoustic walls, utility rerouting, drainage, water lines, and landscaping.
